Our inpatient rehabilitation facility includes 24 private bedrooms for patients recovering from illness and injury. Our tailored treatment plans provide at least three hours of therapy a day, five days a week. Our program has been accredited since 1991 by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and received the Stroke Specialty Program accreditation in 2018. East Jefferson General Hospital has been recognized as an ANCC Magnet Hospital, the 1st in Louisiana, and is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center accredited by the Joint Commission.
