Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Specialized Therapy Programs

Visit our hospital for one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and therapy designed specifically for one-of-a-kind you. We are conveniently located in Metairie but serve residents all over New Orleans metro area, including the North Shore, Jefferson Parish, and the surrounding River Parishes. We know life can be hectic so we offer appointments around your schedule.

Orthopedic procedures at East Jefferson General Hospital have earned numerous honors including being named a Blue Cross-Blue Shield Center of Excellence in Orthopedic Care. Our Total Joint Replacement Program includes pre-surgery classes and post-surgical rehab. Pre-surgery classes educate patients on how to maximize the results of their surgery and post-surgical rehab ensures the most complete recovery possible. Our rehabilitation services include a temporary membership to our Wellness Center which includes state-of-the-art fitness equipment and individualized fitness programs.

Our little something extra

In addition to our 7,700 square foot gym our patients receive therapy in a familiar setting known as Independence Lane. Independence Lane replicates a home-like environment which includes a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor area, raised porch, and a full-sized car. This home away from home even features different flooring textures and surroundings for our patients to practice everyday activities. Our goal is to help you create a future you can look forward to and get back to the life that you love, safely.
