Birth Education Classes

Classes & Events

Your body undergoes tremendous changes during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Questions and concerns are not unusual.

Learning about what is happening to you and your unborn baby will help you understand the changes your body is experiencing. It may also help you cope with the common discomforts of pregnancy and childbirth.

The Family Birth Place also offers several classes to help you prepare for the birth of your baby.

.All of the classes offered at West Jefferson Medical Center are free and open to all patients and their support team. Classes are held in person in the Marrero Classroom, located on the first floor of the Hospital in the Hall of History.
