About the Foundation

About Us

For over 60 years, West Jefferson Medical Center has been on a mission to provide the best possible care for families on the Westbank and surrounding areas. We've always been a hospital built for, and by, the local community; and we are proud to call the patients we serve family.

The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation (WJH Foundation) was founded in 2004 as a charitable organization created to secure philanthropic funds to help maintain and improve the extraordinary care received at West Jefferson Medical Center. Our goal is to support our community hospital and the patients and families that West Jefferson serves.

We are so grateful for the patients, friends, corporations, and foundations that support WJH Foundation. Your support helps us provide:

New Medical Technologies for the most state-of-the-art care at West Jefferson
Programs and Support Services to assists with the emotional, educational, and financial needs of our patients

Founded in 2004, the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation (WJH Foundation) is a non-profit charitable organization created to provide financial support to West Jefferson Medical Center (West Jefferson). It is a legally separate entity from West Jefferson and serves as a support organization operated exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding provision of any future United States tax code.
