In light of the impact of Hurricane Ida on our community and the recent surge in COVID-19, the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation has decided to reschedule the West Jefferson Jubilee – A Toast to the Future to Friday, January 14 at English Turn Golf and Country Club.
The West Jefferson Jubilee, presented by Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects Healthcare Design Group, will be an evening filled with live music, delicious food, and exciting auctions in a grand effort to raise funds to benefit the LCMC Health Neuroscience Institute at West Jefferson Medical Center. We will also be recognizing Dr. Frank Culicchia as the 2nd recipient of the Frank C. Di Vincenti Community Leadership Award.
“The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation is always focused on supporting West Jefferson Medical Center in their efforts to keep our families safe and healthy,” says Tina Dandry-Mayes, West Jefferson Jubilee Co-Chair and WJH Foundation Board Member. “While we are sad to have to postpone this exciting event, we know this will give our staff and community the time it needs to recover after Hurricane Ida and the recent surge in COVID-19. It is the right decision for our providers, sponsors, volunteers, and community.”
Please save the date and join us as we raise our glasses and toast to our extraordinary physicians, staff, and supporters of West Jefferson on Friday, January 14. Contributions raised this year will fund a state-of-the-art Gamma Knife that will allow the hospital to perform radiosurgery for patients with complex primary and metastatic brain tumors. Gamma Knife is an alternative to traditional brain surgery and whole brain radiation that involves no scalpel or incision to successfully treat brain tumors.
