Diane Sieta Elected to Serve on West Jefferson Hospital Foundation Board

Diane Sieta has been elected to the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation Board effective January 1, 2014. Ms. Sieta fills a seat vacated by Mr. Steve Brown.  The Hospital Foundation Board has one seat designated for an employee of the Medical Center.  

An employee at West Jefferson Medical Center since 1986, Diane Sieta is a lifelong resident of Harvey, Louisiana.   

Ms. Sieta is a multi‐year volunteer of the Hospital Foundation. She co‐chairs the annual sponsor recognition during the signature West Jeff Family Fest and fundraiser.  Ms. Sieta also volunteers for special events of the Foundation including the Pink Tea for Breast Cancer Awareness.   Ms. Sieta takes part in the annual Night Outs Against Crime on the West Bank and most recently helped coordinate the West Jefferson response for the first Hispanic Night Out on the West Bank hosted by Budget Saver Grocery in Gretna. She was instrumental in this initiative to meet community needs.  

The Director of Patient Access, Ms. Sieta also volunteers for the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association. With her department members, during national recognition observance months, she showcases team spirit for cancer prevention and awareness and cardiovascular disease and stroke awareness and prevention. Her department has also won numerous spirit awards for patient‐centered care and employee relations.   

Ms. Sieta is a multi‐time recipient of the Supervisor of the Quarter award at West Jefferson Medical Center. “We look forward to being with Ms. Sieta at our 2014 Foundation Board meetings and appreciate her work already on behalf of the Foundation and Medical Center,” said Jack Stumpf, West Jefferson Hospital Foundation president.
