Grateful Patient & Family Giving
If you were touched by the compassion of a caregiver, comforted by the kindness of an employee, or simply grateful for the exceptional medical care you receive at UMC, there’s a way to express that gratitude. Through Grateful Patient & Family Giving, you can honor your caregiver through a donation that will directly support that patient care area or area of greatest need at UMC. This program not only gives you the opportunity to thank your caregiver but provides financial support to the hospital and services that we provide to the patients in our community.
Express your gratitude
When you honor a caregiver or department through Grateful Patient & Family Giving, they will be informed of your generous gift and comment of appreciation. The tax-deductible donation amount is never disclosed to the caregivers, only your thoughtful contribution and words of gratitude in their honor.
You can choose to have your donation directed to a particular service area, or directed to our general fund, the Spirit of Charity Fund. The Spirit of Charity Fund allows us the opportunity to support the hospital in numerous ways by funding programs and initiatives that care for the patients in our community.
