Meet Touro mom, M-Tisha Dillon-Hall. Here's her story...
“I had my first child on New Year's Day in 2008 at Touro. Since that experience, I knew I would never give birth anywhere else,“ says M-Tisha Dillon-Hall. “Delivering at Touro is what made me want to work here.”
M-Tisha is a medical assistant in the family medicine office and has had all four of her babies at Touro. She believes her physicians and the staff made sure she was comfortable, healthy, and ready to take on her role as a mom. She says she had three different obstetricians for her deliveries, and she “loved them all.”
M-Tisha had her mom and sisters with her as she delivered her first child, and, of course, her Obstetrician Dr. Adrian Coleman was there too. To this day, her mom talks about how great the Touro experience was and how everyone catered to her.
“When I had my second baby with Dr. Bacchus, the delivery process was perfect. For my third and fourth babies, I started seeing Dr. Mills-Messina,“ M-Tisha adds. “I've had the privilege of delivering with the late Dr. Adrian Coleman, Dr. Marcel Bacchus, and twice with Dr. Jennifer Mills-Messina. All three of these obstetricians were beyond amazing.”
Her favorite memory for all four of her children’s deliveries is the feeling that she was truly cared for. Being listened to and being able to tell her physician how she felt about anything relating to her care is etched in her memory.
