Rosenblum Healthcare Institute
New Orleans’ Only Healthcare Education Series, Sponsored by Touro Infirmary Foundation
Rosenblum Healthcare Institute (RHI) is an annual educational and leadership program to encourage professionals to engage in community healthcare challenges as volunteers and advocates. For each class of 20-25 attendees, we seek a broad range of vocations, not only healthcare professionals. The common thread of each cohort is curious, compassionate thinkers with an interest in community service. Discussions are conversational with a guest panel of experts and a moderator facilitating.
RHI provides an opportunity to meet leaders working directly with community health issues. By sharing their experiences and answering your questions, these experts will inform your perspective on our most pressing societal concerns.
Topics vary weekly and have included:
- DEI’s Impact on Maternal Health
- Health effects of Living in Cancer Alley
- Creating Solutions for Food scarcity
- Confronting the Mental Health Crisis
- Effective Patient Advocacy
Thanks to the generous support of Paul & Edie Rosenblum, RHI is a tuition-free program. Sessions are held in person at Touro on Wednesday evenings from July 10 through August 14. Applicants are encouraged to commit to attending the entire series to receive the most benefit as discussions tend to build from week to week. Doors open at 5:00 pm for refreshments and networking, discussions will begin at 5:30 pm and wrap by 7:00 pm. Parking in either of Touro’s parking garages is complementary.
Bring on the thought-leaders, the do-ers, and the good conversationalists! Space is limited--Apply by July 5 to claim your spot!
