The Warren L. Rosen MD Award

Rosen Family Award for Excellence

The Warren L. Rosen, M.D. Award for Excellence was established in 1987 by Dr. Rosen’s sons, John and William, as an honor to Dr. Warren Rosen’s 60 years of affiliation with and service to Touro Infirmary. In 2019, due to the devotion and generosity of John and Yvette Rosen and family, the award will live on in perpetuity as the Rosen Award for Excellence.

Rosen Award Candidates must meet the following criteria for consideration:

Must exhibit Touro’s Values in Action: Welcoming Spirit, Respect, Integrity, Professionalism, Teamwork and Stewardship.

Must frequently exemplify excellent customer service.

Must demonstrate personal enthusiasm and involvement in achieving more than that which is expected.

Must show concern for the well-being of patients and co-workers.

Must have a strong work ethic with commitment to departmental and organizational goals through actions, attitude, and initiative.

Must be a full-time staff employee, up to and including first-line supervisor; with at least one year of service.

Must be in good standing according to most recent performance evaluation.

*Rosen Award candidates are selected from staff members who have been recognized as an employee of the month during the previous year.
