Touro welcomes Manuel Linares as Chief Executive Officer

NEW ORLEANS, LA –Touro announces Manuel “Manny” Linares as the new President and Chief Executive Officer. Manny brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience to Touro, New Orleans’ only community-based, faith-based hospital.

“With his experience in service line development and strategic planning, Manny will help continue Touro’s expansion and growth across all specialties,” said Greg Feirn, CEO, LCMC Health. “We couldn't be more excited to have him on the team.”

Manny most recently served as Market Chief Executive Officer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s Miami-Dade and Broward, Florida market, which includes the 337-bed North Shore Medical Center and the 459-bed Florida Medical Center. During his tenure with Tenet, he spearheaded the launch of several high-acuity service lines and led his hospital to receive a Five Star Rating for Heart Failure and the first Joint Commission accreditation for a chest pain center in Florida.

Manny earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Services Administration degrees from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
