The LCMC Health Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy provides regular medications for common illnesses, along with specialty medications used to treat chronic, complex conditions that can be difficult to find. The pharmacy offers a variety of services to support patients, families and the prescribing care team.

We make receiving the medications patients need easy!

Med to beds program (patients can take medications home with them upon discharge from the hospital)
Pick up prescriptions in person
Delivered Medication delivered to patients when enrolled in our specialty pharmacy program.

What is a specialty pharmacy?

A specialty pharmacy fills prescriptions for certain complex, high-cost medications and therapies. Specialty pharmacies also provide a wide range of services to support patients based on their unique needs. We work directly with the prescribing physician and insurance provider to ensure that patients have access to the right medications.

Starting a new treatment can be overwhelming and confusing. We are here to assist patients with improved continuity of care from their LCMC Health provider to their insurance coverages, as well as to explore other options to reduce out-of-pocket expenses and provide patients with peace of mind.
