Lakeview Hospital uses state-of-the-art, full-field digital mammography in conjunction with computer aided detection (CAD) software. This technology allows our board-certified radiologist to detect breast cancers in earlier stages. Additionally, our registered mammography staff uses soft, single-use foam cushions placed on the surface of the image detector providing a warmer more comfortable mammography.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

The InvivoDyna CAD system, a state-of-the-art breast MRI system with computer assisted diagnostics and MRI-guided breast biopsy, was the first of its kind on the Northshore. All images are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist with same-day results. Our advanced breast MRI technology allows Lakeview Hospital to identify cancer cells in earlier stages which are the hardest to detect.

Pap screening

Convenient appointment times for mammograms, including later-day and walk-ins, are available. Our breast program provides accurate and same-day results interpreted by a board-certified radiologist.
