Boo Fest makes a spooktacular return

What:

Lakeview Hospital , a campus of Tulane Medical Center, is hosting the 10th Annual Boo Fest, an event benefiting children with disabilities and open to all children and their families. The annual event returns following cancellations due to COVID-19 and weather the past three years. The family-friendly day is packed with many fall-themed activities, including pumpkin decorating at the pumpkin patch, face painting, a complimentary photo booth, music and dancing provided by a DJ, Be Hooper Be Happy, and much more. The day's highlight is trick or treating along the wheelchair-accessible walking path around the duck pond and green space adjacent to the hospital with children being able to visit more than 70 uniquely themed houses and castles decorated by local businesses, institutions, and families sponsoring the event. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume and take part in the annual Boo Fest costume contest for the title of "Scariest," "Most Original," "Crowd Favorite," "Cutest," and "Best Group."
