Lakeview Hospital hires new director of case management

Lakeview Hospital , a campus of Tulane Medical Center, has named Lindsey Brickeen, RN, its new director of case management.

In her new role, Brickeen is responsible for overseeing the case management team that plans, assesses, monitors and manages patient care. She serves as a resource for the team by developing and implementing programs to optimize service and quality initiatives. Her team works directly with patients and their families to ensure treatment being received leads to desired health results.

Brickeen came to Lakeview Regional in December 2018 after working as an emergency room nurse at Touro & Slidell Memorial for the last 10 years. She worked concurrently as a case manager since 2015.

“Lindsey is proactive and has an in-depth understanding of healthcare systems and practices,” said Stacey O’Connell, Lakeview Regional’s CFO. “She brings excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills to this position. She will be a great leader and will motivate others.”

Brickeen earned a degree in business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University and then graduated from the Charity School of Nursing at Delgado Community College in New Orleans following several years working in the business arena. In her free time, she enjoys working out and traveling with her family.
