- June Selzer – volunteer who gives unselfishly to patients within our facilities and the community
- Debra Piglia – Excellence in Nursing Award for compassionate care
- Kelly Enggeran – Excellence in Nursing Award for professional mentoring
“These awards acknowledge some of our outstanding employees and volunteers who live out our company’s values and mission each and every day,” said Chris Atkinson, Lakeview Regional’s vice president of human resources. “Their dedicated spirit and genuine concern for the welfare of others is exemplary. We are honored they have chosen to share their gifts with Lakeview Regional.”
The Frist Humanitarian Award was founded in 1971 and is given in recognition of exemplary service to patients and the healthcare community and in recognition of a dedicated spirit and genuine concern for the welfare of others. Named in honor of the late Dr. Thomas F. Frist, Sr., founder of LCMC Health and renowned humanitarian, this award recognizes individuals whose daily dedication and caregiving epitomizes the highest standards of quality and personal commitment.
Excellence in Nursing Awards honor those individuals that demonstrate dedication and compassion for the field of nursing and for their patients. Winners are nominated by their colleagues in recognition of their exceptional achievements and commitment to providing the best possible care and experience for patients.
The Clinical Ladder Program helps increase employee knowledge and career potential by offering a chance to attain clinical goals and then share that knowledge to benefit patients. Each year, Lakeview Regional honors those employees that have achieved the next level of professionalism. “This year we recognize 38 individuals who have made the effort to serve as mentors and role models and are an inspiration to their colleagues,” Atkinson said.
