Lakeview Hospital , a campus of Tulane Medical Center, is looking for individuals to join it’s volunteer auxiliary and help its mission to deliver compassionate patient care. Volunteers are needed on the Comfort Cart, on the 3rd floor, in the Gift Shop, in Human Resources as a Greeter, as well as Hosts/Hostesses at the Information Desk and in Outpatient Surgery.
“Our volunteers are individuals who willingly give their time to assist with patient and nonpatient care at Lakeview Regional,” states Alisha Kennedy, Volunteer Coordinator. “The kind and generous efforts by our volunteers add comfort and happiness to our patients, our staff, and our visitors. It’s a well-known fact that volunteers get as much as they give!”
Volunteers receive several perks for service at Lakeview Regional, including a free meal in the cafeteria during a four (4) hour or longer shift, annual recognition luncheon, invitation to all hospital social events, and a 10% discount on purchases made in the Duck’s Nest Gift Shop. For more information about becoming a volunteer at Lakeview Regional please contact Ms. Kennedy at (985) 867-3951 or by email.
