Urgent Care or ER
When do I take my child to the emergency room?
While urgent care centers are great for quickly diagnosing and treating some conditions, they are not always equipped to handle more serious sicknesses or injuries. When your child suffers an injury or a medical emergency, you want to receive the best care as quickly as possible. The Lakeside Hospital Pediatric ER is staffed by board-certified doctors and nurses who have the experience your child needs during a medical crisis. If you are in doubt, choosing the emergency room is always the safest option.
