Tulane Health System has named Tony Nuccio its new supply chain director, where he will be responsible for the daily operations of all supply chain functions, including inventory control, purchasing, distribution and point of service management.
Nuccio joins Tulane Health System from the Louisiana Heart Hospital, where he was director of materials management and oversaw the facility’s supply chain operations. Prior to this position, he served as manager of supply chain services for the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in Baton Rouge.
“Tony’s history of success will add to the strength of our department,” said Brad Vicknair, director of supply chain operations for LCMC Health’s MidAmerica Division, of which Tulane Health System is a member. “He will play a key role in developing additional cost-saving initiatives that will advance our health system’s goals.”
Nuccio earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and holds a Lean Six Sigma certification, which provides industry-recognized training to improve business performance and processes in supply chain management.
