Dr. Dawson is a Louisiana native born in Morganza in Coupee Parish. He is internationally known in the field of interventional neuroradiology using his knowledge and skills treating patients suffering from stroke, intracranial aneurysms and vascular malformations of the brain or spinal cord. Dr. Dawson’s expertise has taken him all over the world, including China, where he taught other medicals professionals as well as performed surgery on patients. Dr. Dawson has perfected the use of highly specialized microcatheterization, which allows him to use state-of-the-art imaging and sophisticated medical tools, significantly reducing patient operative trauma and recovery time. Dr. Dawson is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology, and Vascular/Interventional Radiology.
