About Dr. Sus

I am a Primary Care provider and Obesity Medicine Specialist, and the most rewarding part of my work is walking alongside my patients as they become healthier and live fuller lives. I am especially passionate about the prevention side of medicine and place a strong emphasis on healthy lifestyle habits, as I believe they are the foundation for a long and healthy life.

I serve as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Tulane Multispecialty Clinic at the Metairie Lakeside location. After completing my MBBS in India, I moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where I earned my Master of Public Health from UAB. After relocating to New Orleans, I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Ochsner Health, where I worked in both inpatient and outpatient medicine until 2013. I have been with Tulane Internal Medicine since April 2013 and have been board certified in Internal Medicine since 2008.

I have a special interest in managing obesity through medical treatment and nutrition, and I am also deeply interested in improving patient care through enhanced electronic medical records and more effective patient recordkeeping.
