About Dr. Stein

Dr. Maureen Stein earned her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College in Wellesley Ma. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University, Charity Hospital, as well as completing an internal medicine residency there. She went on to complete her cardiology fellowship training at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. She is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Stein has extensive training and expertise in coronary interventions, previously serving as director of the Cardiac Catheterization laboratory of Methodist Hospital.

She was good, she listened to everything and she was really attentive and told me all I needed to know. And I'm glad to have her.

Dr. Stein was extremely professional, friendly, kind, and concerned about my health care. She also provided opportunities for extra testing for me and extra help afterwards with my condition. I appreciate her and thank her for her services.

They attended to me very well and explained everything I needed to know. However, I didn't like how the receptionist treated me. She was not very professional because I asked for some documents in Spanish, and she didn't give them to me. She didn't meet my expectations in terms of service. All the other staff members were great, but the receptionist needs to show a bit more respect for people because I didn't like how she treated me.
