About Dr. Lowentritt

I specialize in Nephrology. I became a healthcare provider because I was inspired by my father who was a physician. Growing up I would accompany him to the emergency room and hospital and learned by watching him provide trusted care to his community. My patients can count on me to provide extraordinary care because I devote most of my time when I meet with patients to teaching and explaining their disease processes as well as understanding them as individual persons with unique challenges.

My little something extra

I love New Orleans culture, and I’m a diehard New Orleans Saints fan. My patients are often amused when they see my office exam rooms decorated with Saints memorabilia, Mardi Gras Indian photographs, and Zulu coconuts.
