Event Details

The Labor and Birth class is designed to help expectant parents understand the process of labor and birth. The class includes information on pain management, C-section births, and common labor and delivery procedures. Information on the changes you will experience after childbirth is also discussed during the class. All expectant mothers and their spouses or partners are encouraged to attend this free class.

Also includes a tour of the Family Birth Place.

All classes are held in the Marrero Classroom, located in the Hall of History on the first floor of West Jefferson Medical Center.

Labor and Birth classes are every other month are a 2-part class, so when you sign up for 1, you need to be signed up for both weeks.

9am - 1pm                       6-8pm
