The hospital has returned to normal operations. Clinics will be reopening as soon as it is safe to do and as resources become available. If you have any questions about your upcoming appointment, please call 504-503-7000.
The current clinics will be closed today, September 12:
- Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine
- LCMC Tulane Uptown Multispecialty Clinic
- All LCMC Lakeside Hospital Clinics
- EJGH Tulane Pulmonary Lung Clinic
- Tulane Transplant Institute
All other clinics will reopen today, September 12 at 10 am.
East Jefferson General Hospital has plans in place and is ready to act when emergencies affect our area. Similarly we encourage you to be prepared to implement your emergency plan for yourself and family.
Our emergency preparedness plan is designed to ensure the safety of our patients, and staff. In preparing our plan we worked closely with state and local governments, the Louisiana Hospital Association, LCMC Health, our medical staff and employees.
Severe weather updates
When a hurricane or tropical storm threatens the New Orleans area, East Jefferson General Hospital will activate its emergency plan to provide patients, staff, physicians, and family members with up-to-date information regarding our preparations, announcements about hospital and clinic status, and other relevant instructions. In addition, our website will be updated with vital information.
