We are excited to announce LCMC Health’s plan to move forward in welcoming East Jefferson General Hospital into our family of hospitals. We are proud to continue fulfilling our shared mission of providing healthcare with a heart to New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana- area communities.

We have secured the support of both Boards of Trustees and the Jefferson Parish Council.

Now we need the support of the community!

The next step will be a public vote by the residents of the East Bank of Jefferson Parish at a to-be-determined date in Spring 2020.

We look forward to gaining the public’s support, and ultimately welcoming East Jefferson General Hospital into our healthcare system.
