Judy Scanlon Tabbed Sr. Director of Nursing

Long-time nursing director Judy Scanlon, RN, BSN, PCCN, has been promoted to Senior Director of Nursing, overseeing 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 East as well as the Enterostomal Therapy and Diabetes Management teams.

“We sincerely congratulate Judy on this well-deserved promotion,” said Ruby Brewer, Chief Nursing Officer. “Judy has been a long-term team member and leader at East Jefferson General Hospital. She has worked hard to improve quality and safety on her units, has served as a great mentor to nurses across the organization, and is a role model for professionalism in nursing leadership.”

Scanlon has most recently been an instrumental part in hourly rounding along with playing a key role in EJGH becoming a four-time magnet-certified hospital.
