The East Jefferson General Hospital Emergency Management Team brought out several demonstrations to the hospital’s front lawn on Tuesday, June 14, in an effort to promote emergency preparedness for the community.
“This is a great way for us to show the public that we’re always prepared,” said Mike Guillot, Director of Emergency Management at EJGH. “It helps remind our hospital that we need to always be on the ready while showing the public that we’re continuing to do all we can to keep them safe in the event of a catastrophe.”
The Western Shelter, a decontamination tent, MCI bus, and the high water vehicle were all on display during the two-hour event.
