EJGH Named Best Place to Give Birth and Best ER for Adults

JeffersonParishParent.com has recognized East Jefferson General Hospital in its annual Best of the 504 Awards, honoring EJGH’s Woman and Newborn and Emergency Departments with top marks.

The awards were voted on by members of the Jefferson Parish community through Jefferson Parish Parent, an online hub that provides readers with the resources they need to make the best-informed decisions.

EJGH’s Woman and Newborn department earned the top spot for Best Places to Give Birth while the Emergency Department was recognized as the Best ER for Adults in the parish during 2016.

East Jefferson General Hospital was the only institution in the greater New Orleans area to grab more than one first-place finish in the annual polling.
