Annual Golf Classic Brings in $67,000

The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital raised $67,000 during its 14th Annual Golf Classic presented by Drago’s Seafood Restaurant and hosted by Metairie Country Club this past month.

The always-popular benefit was co-chaired by physicians David St. Germain Jr., MD, and Trey Sands, MD, with community leaders, corporate sponsors, and EJGH leadership all in attendance during the event.

All money raised goes towards The Foundation’s goal of supporting EJGH in its mission of delivering the highest quality, compassionate healthcare to the community. The Foundation offers this support by providing funding for specialized patient care, advanced technology, services, and capital expansion projects.

This year’s golf outing saw 144 players make the rounds on the course.

Food was provided by Andy’s Bistro, Boulevard American Bistro, Drago’s, Galatoires, and the New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Company.
