EJGH’s Nina Victory Earns Spot on 2016 “Women of the Year” List

East Jefferson General Hospital Director of Community Services Nina Victory has earned a spot in New Orleans CityBusiness’ 2016 Women of the Year List, the publication announced on Friday.

Victory is a long-time member of the EJGH staff, starting off as a volunteer in May of 1998. Joining as a full-time staff assistant in July of that same year, Victory quickly rose to supervisor and director roles by 2006.

In her day-to-day duties, Victory oversees 300 active volunteers and over 30,000 Healthy Lifestyle members. She also manages Guest Services and ensures our patients have an excellent experience.

Victory has served as President of the Louisiana Society of Directors of Volunteers and is an active member and former state representative for the Southeast Healthcare Volunteer Leaders organization.

During her tenure at East Jefferson General Hospital, Victory has earned Team Member of the Month in 2000 and Leader of the Year in 2015.

The 18th annual “Women of the Year” will be recognized at a November 3, luncheon at the Hyatt Regency, when an overall Woman of the Year will be announced. A special insert spotlighting all “Women of the Year” honorees will run in the Nov. 11 issue of CityBusiness.
