EJGH Pharmacy Tech Danielle Banks Wins Louisiana Tech of the Year

East Jefferson General Hospital Pharmacy Tech Danielle Banks was named the Outstanding Health System Tech of the Year for Louisiana, earning her the highest award given out to technicians by the Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Each year the award is presented to one technician exhibiting outstanding service to society and to the profession. Banks was nominated by EJGH and selected as the winner by the LSHP Board of Directors.

Banks was acknowledged for her teamwork, taking on special projects for cost control, coordinating community service projects, and encouraging other technicians to climb the career ladder.

The EJGH team member was also recognized as a first-place winner in designing the Drug Supply Chain Act poster used by the LSHP.
