LCMC HEALTH CONGRATULATES 32 NURSES NAMED AS “GREAT 100 NURSES OF LOUISIANA”

These nurses are being recognized by the Great 100 Nurses Foundation
for delivering care beyond the extraordinary.

LCMC Health is proud to announce that 32 of our exceptional nurses have been named among the prestigious "Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana" for 2024. This esteemed recognition is awarded by the Great 100 Nurses Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating nursing excellence. Nurses selected for this honor are chosen for their outstanding care, dedication to the profession, mentorship, and advocacy for the well-being of their patients.

The selection process is rigorous, with nominees evaluated based on their compassion, clinical expertise, contributions to the field of nursing, and their role in mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers. Being named among the “Great 100 Nurses” is a testament to their ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional care and making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of their patients and the communities they serve.

"On behalf of LCMC Health, I am incredibly proud of our nurses who have received this well-deserved recognition,” said Greg Feirn, Chief Executive Officer of LCMC Health. “Their compassion, skill, and tireless dedication to providing world-class care make a profound difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Our nurses are the heart and soul of healthcare, and we are grateful for the incredible contributions they make to the well-being of our community."

The "Great 100 Nurses" award highlights the diverse skills and unwavering dedication that these nurses bring to their work each day. Whether it’s providing bedside care, leading clinical innovations, educating future nurses, or advocating for patient rights, these individuals go above and beyond to elevate the nursing profession. Their recognition not only reflects their individual excellence but also underscores LCMC Health’s commitment to fostering an environment of clinical excellence and compassionate care.
