Clearview clinic to hold Free Flu Shot Day Nov. 11

NEW ORLEANS -- LCMC Health Urgent Care Clinic in Clearview will hold a "Free Flu Shot Day" from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, November 11.

Flu vaccines will be available for patients aged four years and older, and no insurance is required.

Patients may reserve their place in line using LCMC Health Urgent Care's paperless check-in system. Patients can also receive updates and reminder texts about their online check-in once they are placed in the queue.

In the last week (2019-20 Influenza Season Week 43 ending Oct 26, 2019), 5.8% of Louisiana patient visits reported through the U.S. Outpatient Influenza-like illness Surveillance Network (ILINet) were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). This percentage is above the regional baseline of 3.8%. ILI is defined as fever >100°F and cough and/or sore throat in the absence of another diagnosis.

LCMC Health Urgent Care - Clearview is located at 1105 S. Clearview Pkwy and is open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
