LCMC Health representatives named to CityBusiness’ 2019 “Women in Business” class

Five LCMC Health representatives have been selected for CityBusiness’ 2019 class of “Women in Business,” recognized for their professional and community achievements. The list of honorees includes Katie Crosby, Jaimmé A. Collins, Dr. Bonnie Deselle, Aziza Landrum, and Dr. Sonia Malhotra.

Katie serves as Chair of LCMC Health’s Board of Trustees and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Children’s Hospital New Orleans. She is Chairman of the Board of Fidelity Bank.

Jaimmé is a member of the Board of University Medical Center New Orleans. She is an attorney and partner at Adams and Reese, where she chairs their Diversity Committee.

Dr. Bonnie Desselle is the Chief Medical Education Officer at Children’s Hospital New Orleans.

Aziza is the Community Relations Manager for New Orleans East Hospital.

Dr. Sonia Malhotra is the Director of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care at University Medical Center New Orleans and the Tulane School of Medicine and is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

In addition, Hogs for the Cause, a non-profit that collaborates with Children’s Hospital, was among organizations recognized as a “Non-profit Leader.” In October 2018, and in partnership with Hogs for the Cause, Children’s Hospital opened Hogs House to provide on-campus housing for families who live outside New Orleans and have a child who is receiving ongoing care at the hospital.
